Abstract:
The invention relates to an impression tray (1) having a concave tray base (2) for making an impression of at least one jaw part which is provided with at least one implant body (12) that comprises a receiving opening in which an impression support (11) can be inserted. Said impression tray (1) is filled with a flowable, curable impression material (10) for producing the mold for a model of the jaw part. The invention is characterized in that the tray base (2) comprises, at least in one section, a wall (6, 6') trough which an impression support (11) inserted in the implant body (12) can push when the impression tray (1) is placed on the jaw part. The use of the inventive impression tray reduces chair time, increases precision of the implant model and allows to reduce material and labor costs.
