Abstract:
Provided is an improved acetonitrile purification process for an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry instrument which, by means of oxidation, rectifying absorption, drying, reflux rectification and filtering of industrial-grade acetonitrile and controlling parameters such as temperature and flow, obtains high-purity finished product while continuous production is guaranteed. The acetonitrile has a 200~260nm ultraviolet light transmittance larger or equal to 95%. Water and impurities are removed from the industrial-grade acetonitrile to meet requirement by the ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry instrument. Process parameters and equipment are controlled to improve the yield rate of finished product to 95% or more and enhance purification efficiency. In addition, an absorbing column is replaced by an absorbing rectification column to enhance purity, improve regeneration efficiency and reduce environmental pollution.
