The invention relates to ametod and apparatus (10) for obtaining a desired power out from an electrical load by supplying a sufficient pulse time modulation energy to the device to replace only losses and to maintain only residual power, thus maintaining the desired power output and thereby conserving input energy that would otherwise by wasted.
