TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an improved clipping device .
BACKGROUND ART
Clipping devices currently comprise an electric power system, which may be connected to an electricity mains or comprise a rechargeable battery; and a normally adjustable system of movable blades .
Known clipping devices have the drawback of depending on the workplace for lighting.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION It is an obj ect of the present invention to provide a clipping device designed to solve the problems of the known state of the art .
According to the present invention, there is provided a clipping device comprising a system of movable blades, and characterized by comprising at least one light source so located as to illuminate a work area of said movable blades .
The device according to the present invention and as described above may be used independently of the light
available in the workplace .
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
A non-limiting embodiment of the present invention will be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing, which shows a view in perspective of the clipping device according to the present invention .
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Number 1 in the accompanying drawing indicates as a whole a clipping device in accordance with the present invention . Device 1 comprises a rigid casing 2 having a grip portion 3 and housing an electric power system, which may be defined by a rechargeable battery or by a circuit connected in use to an electricity mains . Device 1 comprises a known system of movable clipping blades 4 not described in detail .
Device 1 also comprises three light sources 5 having an angle of emission of at least 60° , located on a front portion 2a of casing 2, and aligned along a line A parallel to the system of movable blades 4. The light sources emit a light beam having a central axis forming a 60 ° angle with respect to a work surface of the device, and such as to illuminate an area 6 in front of the system of movable blades 4. More specifically, the three light sources 5 may be incandescent or gas discharge or fluorescent or LED (Light Emitting Diode) sources .
In a preferred embodiment of the device according to
the present invention, the three light sources are connected to orienting means by which to select the desired area 6 to be illuminated.
In a further embodiment, the light sources may form part of a lighting device fittable to currently marketed clipping devices .
The advantages of the present invention lie in enabling the clipping device to be used even in poorly lit workplaces .
