Abstract:
The present invention refers to a cooking apparatus, particularly to a household cooking apparatus, preferably to a steam oven, and even more preferably to a steam generator generating the steam for preparing food in said steam oven. In a generator body (1) a tubular insert (3) is arranged around which a heater (2) being tightly wound in a thread-like manner. Provided are means (6, 13) to eliminate the water from the steam.
