Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cylinder head (1) adapted to be used in a hermetically sealed compressor (2) of a cooler appliance. The cylinder head (1) comprises a shell (3), at least one space (4) provided in the shell (3), an exhaust chamber (23) into which the compressed gas passing through an exhaust port (24) fills, and an enclosed volume from which the gas is then discharged by means of a connection orifice provided on a body (17). In the cylinder head (1) of the invention, the space (4) is surrounded by a serrated surface (5) having a plurality of elevated portions (6) enabling the coolant flowing through the space (4) to be acoustically damped.
