Abstract:
The invention relates to a disk brake that comprises a brake caliper (12), a first piston (16), a piston rod (120), a wheel (140) for locking the piston rod (120), and a transverse axial abutment plate (100). Said disk brake is characterized in that the brake comprises a secondary hydraulic cavity, a secondary piston (82) capable of engaging with the piston rod (120), and an automatic wear adjustment unit (43); in that the piston rod (120) comprises a locking section (126) that extends through a hole (112) of the transverse abutment plate (100), and the rotatably attached element, either an adjustment screw or adjustment nut, is rotatably connected to the piston rod (120); and in that the threading direction of the threaded section of the piston rod is the reverse of the threading direction of the wear adjustment screw.
