1 - The invention is explosion prevention system with floater characterized by explosion prevention system (P) in form aluminum containing metallic strip (28) and The floater with fluid level display (S) containing the parts; The pointer drive shaft (1), The pointer articulation pin (2), Safety gear shaft (3), Safety gear (4), Top small gear (5), Display Body (6), Body connection pipe (7), Central Shaft (8), Central small gear (9), Bottom small gear (10), Joint top link (11), Joint shaft (12), Joint downlink (13), Bushings (14), Floater helix (15), Display floater (16), Floater bearing shaft 1 (17), Floater bearing shaft 2 (18), Filter Bearing (19), Filter Bearing lower lid (20), Display filter (21), Display round protective 1 (22), Display round protective 2 (23), Joint spring (24), Magnet (25), pointer (26) and Electronic Print Circuit Dial (27).

DESCRIPTION IMPROVED EXPLOSION PREVENTION SYSTEM WITH FLOATER

Field of Invention

This invention is related with explosion prevention system that can be used in any kind of liquid or gas fuel tanks for reducing the explosion risk in minimum. Especially, an efficient and passive system which does not require being a professional for using is explained. This invention provides explosion prevention for flammable and explosive fluids in any kind of tank. It is a necessity to use a floater for seeing the level of fuel in the tank from outside. A tank without floater, although an explosion prevention system may work both logically and scientifically, in real life tank with floater system are not be used. With this invention, a floater suitable for explosion system will be developed for any kind of fuel tanks and the level of fuel will be seen digitally and analogously by user.

Prior Art

Nowadays, especially petroleum and its derivatives, energy sources in liquid or in gas form like natural gas are used in many area like transportation, heating, industry and military areas. This usage requires storing of fuel in various volumes. However as such kinds of energy sources are highly flammable, there is a need of reducing the risk of explosion actively or passively. This is because, in case a fuel tank catch fire, it is inevitable to have an explosion. Moreover, excessive heating in fuel tanks causes evaporation of fuel and sudden increase in the inside pressure of tank which gives rise to damage in tank and explosion of fuel inside. Especially vehicles used in military areas are vulnerable to risk of explosion even with one bullet. On the other hand inertia in tank, earthquake, excessive heating or any stroke outside may cause explosion. For all these reasons, there is a need of explosion prevention system in industry, military transportation and even in all kinds of fuel tanks used in our daily life. Though there are several types of explosion system recently, these systems generally contains cooling mechanisms, flame absorbing units and spark absorbing units. Such systems have several disadvantages. For example, in flame absorbing unit, some particles may accumulate and there happen a need of cleaning or maintenance. On the other hand such systems are multi piece and complex systems which required professionals for assembling in any fuel tanks. For these reasons, system used recently or in prior art are highly expensive and their usage is limited. Moreover, in order to control explosion, adding some chemicals inside the tanks is another way however, it is also expensive. Also in such cases, Floater system may not work and fuel level can not be seen via displays due to these chemicals. Another way in prior art can be separation of tank in parts which gives rise high cost as well.

Aim of invention

The aim of invention is to overcome problems exist in the prior art and provide a low cost, easy to use, and effective control in fuel tanks against explosion. For this reason, in the concept of invention, a metal strip is provided with a perforated surface which does not react chemically or physically with liquid and gaseous fuels and which is made of aluminum alloy. This strip can be in various forms and placed in the fuel tanks. The strip in the tank, thanks to its thermal conductivity, provides equal distribution of heat in tank and provides a buffer between flame and fuel by cutting direct contact. In any kind of tank filled with liquid gas (LPG; LNG; CNG), diesel oil, gasoline, paint thinners, solvents, while known floater systems is not working, our invention works by means of newly developed floater. For this reason, this system will be available for all LPG adapted autos. Description of drawings:

Detailed Explanation of the Invention This invention basically consists of two main components namely explosion prevention system (P) and Floater with fluid level display (S).

The drawing of the open view of explosion prevention system (P) used in the invention is given in fig.l . Explosion prevention system (P) is in a form of metallic strip (28) with a perforated surface which does not react chemically or physically with liquid and gaseous fuels and which is made of aluminum alloy. Metallic strip (28) can be in form of circle, square, rectangle, trapezoid etc. Metallic strip (28) is knitted to form a network in any pattern like woven fabrics. This pattern may be in a form of plain pattern obtained by striping over and under each other and comprising holes (29) or in a form of more complex pattern obtained by knitting.

Before setting metallic strip (28) into tank, it can be rolled up in same way to get a roll (30) form or, in order to have smaller volume it can be rolled up in all ways to get a sphere (31) form.

In case of roll form (30) is used in explosion prevention system (P), the length of metallic strip (28) and consequently the diameter of roll (30) can be adjusted according to size of fuel tank. For efficient protection, it is suitable to make roll (30) in a way of to completely occupy the inner volume of tank. Then when the fuel is added in to tank, due to regular holes (29), it can fill in the spaces formed in a roller (30).

For spherical (31) form, as the roll up of metallic strip (28) is in everyway and in different direction each time, the holes (29) are not in a regular way like in roll form (30). The spheres (31) are inserted in to the tank to fill inside. This application is preferred especially for tanks like in the automobiles which can not be open totally and the transaction with outside can be done via small dimensions. Therefore without any revision need in the tank, adequate number of metallic strip in sphere form (31) can be filled in the tank. The explosion prevention system (P) inserted in the fuel tank thanks to its thermal conductivity, provides equal distribution of heat in every point in tank. Therefore a heat occurred in the tank is distributed among the tank equally and the sudden heat increase and/or pressure increase is prevented. Another function of the explosion prevention system (P) is providing a buffer between flame and fuel by cutting direct contact. With this property, cooling of flame and reducing of its facility is achieved. Moreover, for prevention of slush fuels in the tanks occurred due to the moving of vehicle is reduced and fuels become static. Therefore, electrostatic prevention is provided. For example, system in rolled form (30), as it occupies all inside volume of the tank, thermal and mechanical tension creation is prevented. Moreover it roles as galvanic anode and corrosion inside the tank is prevented and the tank is kept clean.

In addition, as the thermal balance is achieved in the tank, evaporation of the fuel inside is approximately 85-90% reduced. The system does not require any cleaning or maintenance after applied in a tank. In case of the tank to be punctured somehow, no need to fuel to be removed from tank and by means of weld the puncture can be closed. The heat occurred during welding is distributed equally inside the tank and there become no excessive heat points inside the tank. Moreover, potential flame from welding machine is not directly contact with fuel thanks to roll (30) and gives no harms.

The use of explosion prevention system (P) in LPG vehicles can be achieved with Floater with fluid level display (S). The floater with fluid level display (S) contains the parts; The pointer drive shaft (1), The pointer articulation pin (2), Safety gear shaft (3), Safety gear (4), Top small gear (5), Display Body (6), Body connection pipe (7), Central Shaft (8), Central small gear (9), Bottom small gear (10), Joint top link (11), Joint shaft (12), Joint downlink (13), Bushings (14), Floater helix (15), Display floater (16), Floater bearing shaft 1 (17), Floater bearing shaft 2 (18), Filter Bearing (19), Filter Bearing lower lid (20), Display filter (21), Display round protective 1 (22), Display round protective 2 (23), Joint spring (24), Magnet (25), pointer (26) and Electronic Print Circuit Dial (27).

Especially in Toroidal Tank and flat in tanks used in Auto-Gas systems, when combustion, explosion-prevention products are used, these substances prevents no other substances rather than liquids to get in thanks to the Display floater ( 16) and Filter Bearing lower lid (20).

Auto gas tanks produced in international standards, the gas supply, a float indicating the level of safety and fuel systems where the mounted is 30 degree angled and liquid level display was settled without any angle earlier, thanks to parts first time used in this invention, namely, Joint downlink (13), Bushings (14), Floater helix (15), Display floater (16), Floater bearing shaft 1 (17), Floater bearing shaft 2 (18), Filter Bearing (19), Filter Bearing lower lid (20), Display filter (21), Joint shaft (12) and Joint spring (24) it can move in 120 degree angle and become perpendicular and Bottom small gear (10) become closer to Central small gear (9). Display floater (16) can move upwards by means of liquid filled inside the tank and when the level decrease, it causes the Floater helix (15) turn. Then Floater helix (15) makes Bushings (14) and Bottom small gear (10) to turn. Bottom small gear (10) transmits the motion to Central small gear (9).

Central small gear (9) transmits the movement to Top small gear (5) which is on one side of Central Shaft (8) passed from the middle of Body connection pipe (7) fixed to the Display Body (6) and makes the Top small gear (5) to rotate. Top small gear (5) makes Safety gear (4) to move, Safety gear (4) makes Safety gear shaft (3) to move, Safety gear shaft (3) makes the pointer articulation pin (2) to move and the pointer articulation pin (2) makes the pointer drive shaft (1) to move. By means of magnet (25) settled on the end of pointer drive shaft (1), pointer (26) moves and by means of lines on the Electronic Print Circuit Dial (27), level can be seen analogously and same time electronically with lighted or digital screen..

After all, explosion prevention system (P) when put into the tank can work with Floater with fluid level display (S) at same place. By means of Floater with fluid level display (S), the control of the explosion prevention system (P) is also possible. The system explained above, as it contains material which does not react chemically or physically with liquid and gaseous fuels, can be used in any kind of tanks used in all air, see or land vehicles, lpg tanks and tanks used in petroleum refineries, petroleum stations and fuel depots that are used in the chemical industry.
