2.	16 A footwear structure according to any of the previous claims, characterized in that the side edges of said upper (2) are bent and fixed at the upper surface of said sole (3).

3.	17 A footwear structure according to any of the previous claims, characterized in that it comprises third fitting means, said third fitting means comprising a separate layer of resilient deformable fabric (13) which is inserted between the upper (2) and the sole (3).

18 A footwear structure comprising : an upper (2) comprising a toe portion (110) and a heel portion (120), and a sole (3) associated to said upper (2), characterized in that said sole (3) comprises a pliable region (15) allowing a bending of said toe portion (110) of said upper with a consequent change of its overall longitudinal dimension so as to accommodate the internal volume of the footwear structure to the size of a user's foot.

19 A footwear structure comprising : an upper (2) comprising a toe portion (110) and a beef portion (120), and a sole (3) associated to said upper (2), characterized in that said sole (3) comprises a first layer (5) of waterproof resiliently deformable material, the bottom of said first layer (5) being associated with a plurality of inserts (6) made of rigid or semirigid material.

6.	20 The footwear structure according to claim 19, characterized in that said plurality of inserts have a high resistance to perforation and a high resistance to abrasion.

7.	21 The footwear structure according to claim 19 or 20, characterized in that said inserts (6) are arranged according to a layout defining a plurality of grooves (7).

8.	22 The footwear structure according to any of claims from 19 or 21, characterized in that said inserts (6) are associated to said first layer (5) through stitching, or gluing, or overinjection, or coinjection.

A footwear structure comprising: an upper (2) comprising a toe portion (110) and a heel portion (120), and a sole (3) associated to said upper (2), characterized in that said upper (2) comprises a first region (20) fabricated in a material which is resiliently deformable, a separct layer being (13) inserted between said sole (3) and said upper (2), said separate layer (13) being attached to the outer edges (14) of the upper (2).

10.	The footwear structure according to claim 23, characterized in that said separate layer (13) is attached to the outer edges (14) of the upper (2) so as to realize a substantially tubolar shaped upper.

11.	The footwear structure according to claim 23 or 24, characterized in that said separate layer (13) is attached to the outer edges (14) of the upper (2) through Strobel stitching.
