Abstract:
An improved multifunctional transformer. The transformer comprises a saturable reactor and a transformer which are mounted on the same closed-loop iron core (5), wherein the saturable reactor comprises direct-current coils (L23, L24) being provided on two iron core columns respectively, and each of the direct-current coils (L23, L24) being provided with a tap; dotted terminals of the two direct-current coils (L23, L24) are connected, the tap of the first direct-current coil (L23) is connected to a non-dotted terminal of the second direct current coil (L24) via a first forward thyristor (D1), and a non-dotted end of the first direct-current coil (L23) is connected to the tap of the second direct-current coil (L24) via a second forward thyristor (D2);the control ends of the two thyristors (D1, D2) are connected to a control circuit (6), and the control circuit (6) controls the sizes of triggering angles of the two thyristors (D1, D2); and the sizes of direct-currents of the two direct current coils (L23, L24) are continuously adjusted, thereby realizing continuous adjustment of a reactance value of the saturable reactor.
