Abstract:
An improved structure of a ball holding type cabinet door push-to-open latch, comprising a lock cylinder part fixed on a cabinet body and a lock seat part fixed on a door panel, wherein the lock seat part comprises a mounting base and a lock ball which are integrally formed, and the lock ball protrudes out of the end surface of the mounting base by means of a support; the lock cylinder part comprises a housing, a slideway extends inwards from the front end surface of the housing, a sliding block is mounted in the slideway in an extendable/retractable manner, a pair of holders are hingedly mounted at the front end of the sliding block, and when the sliding block retracts inwards, the holders and the end surface of the housing press each other to generate power for holding inwards, so that the holders hold the lock ball of the lock seat part. The beneficial effect of the present invention is that: an arced surface is used for contact between the holders and the lock ball, and therefore, there is no perpendicularity requirement for the mounting of the holders and the lock ball, so that the requirement for the mounting precision of the door panel and the cabinet body can be reduced.
