Description:
Description

THE IMPROVED UNSINKABLE BOAT AND ITS CONSTRUCTION METHOD

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention is about an unsinkable boat. In particular this invention is about an improved unsinkable boat, in which it has high hydrodynamic and more efficient fuel consumption.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Boats are the most common water transportation used by fishermen. In 2010 it was noted that there were 350.000 wood boats operating in Indonesia which were used by fishermen to earn their living. In the former inventions the inventor talked about the weaknesses of wooden boats and their negative impact on the environment and therefore the inventor suggested boats that are unsinkable in any weather condition and are environmentally friendly.

In accordance with the developing technology and invention, the inventor has invented a new invention, functioning as the improvement of the former invention, which is called "The Unsinkable Boat", whose registration number is P00 2013 00340, and which we registered on 6 May 2013. The improvement that will be explained in this invention involves the hydrodynamic shape of the boat and its construction method in order to reduce the fuel consumption.

In the fishery and sea transportation world, the efficiency of fuel is the most important factor in boating. The low efficiency of fuel consumption can make small fishermen and businessmen suffer a loss because the expense of operating the boat is bigger than their income from their business. This may results in their low standard of living.

There are several things for the businessmen to save the fuel consumption, among others by using more efficient engines, using bigger boats and using more sophisticated navigational and fishing appliances which are more efficient. However, this solution requires a big capital which is unreachable by small fisheniien. Therefore, small fishermen cannot compete with businessmen with big capital and they get even worse. Based on the above fact, the inventor creates an invention called "The Improved Unsinkable Boat" which is an improvement in the shape of the tip of the "Unsinkable Boat", whose registration number is POO 2013 00340, and which makes it more hydrodynamic so that it can improve the fuel efficiency. The shape of the tip is also applicable on the other inventions such as "The Multi-Purpose Floating Platform" whose registration number is P00 2013 00037, which we registered on 22 January 2013 as well as on other means of sea transportation.

In relation to the problems explained above, the inventor suggests an improvement or an upgrade from the former unsinkable boat. We call this new invention "The Improved Unsinkable Boat" in relation to the fact that this boat is really unsinkable and that this new invention is really an improved modification of the former unsinkable boat. With this new invention, it is expected that small fishermen can save the fuel consumption and increase their standard of living.

The improved unsinkable boat in accordance with the new invention is expected to be a solution to the above mentioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

As already mentioned above, this invention is about an unsinkable boat. In particular this invention is about an improved unsinkable boat, in which it has high hydrodynamic and more efficient fuel consumption.

The improved unsinkable boat consists of:

At least one main floating apparatus with a stretched pipe shape and functioning as the main body of the boat;

At least one balancing floating apparatus which is fixed parallel with the main floating apparatus;

At least two balancing arms which are fixed to connect the main floating apparatus with the balancing floating apparatus;

A number of components to assemble the unsinkable boat;

A motor engine (4) as a motor or drive for an unsinkable boat to make it move fast; A steering wheel (5) to direct or to turn the boat to the direction desired by the boat driver;

What becomes the characteristic of the front tip of the main floating apparatus is that it has a thin flat shape so that it is hydrodynamic and can slash the water well. A method of making the thin flat tip of the main floating apparatus for the improved unsinkable boat which includes the following steps:

Heating the plastic or polyethylene pipe at the tip so that it reaches a certain temperature to enable it to be shaped;

Removing the tip of the plastic or polyethylene pipe from the heater and clamp it using two metal plates with a certain shape so that the tip of the plastic or polyethylene pipe to become thin flat and united complying with the shape of the metal plate of the clamp;

Letting the tip of the plastic or polyethylene pipe be cold until the shape of the thin flat tip of the pipe wi ll not change anymore.

Removing the metal plate from the tip of the plastic or polyethylene pipe and then the tip of the plastic or polyethylene pipe is cut to the desired shape;

Covering the back part of the pipe with membrane, then track holders and other components are fixed on it so that an improved unsinkable boat is constructed.

The main purpose of this invention is to provide an unsinkable boat which has been modified to improve its ability in that it has high hydrodynamic and efficient fuel consumption.

The next purpose of this invention is to provide an unsinkable boat whose thin flat tip of the floating apparatus enables it to slash the water well.

The further purpose of this invention is to provide an unsinkable boat wi th the shape of the tip of the floating apparatus is thin flat and diagonal to improve the hydrodynamic of the floating apparatus.

Another purpose of this invention is to provide an unsinkable boat whose thin flat tip of the floating apparatus has a forward extension to anticipate the damage resulting from the scratching of the boat against sand when it is parked.

Another purpose of this invention is to provide an unsinkable boat in which the boat is unsinkable because the floating power lies in the floating apparatus itself so that the boat does not sink even though it is overturned.

"The improved unsinkable boat is a boat with a floating apparatus whose tip has a thin flat shape so that it is hydrodynamic and can slash water very well.

The excellence/superiority:

1. The thin flat shape of the tip of the floating apparatus enables the boat to slash the water very well and thus it is more hydrodynamic and improves the efficiency of the fuel.

2. The shape of the tip of the floating apparatus is thin flat and diagonal (see Figure of side view) to further improve the hydrodynamic character of the floating apparatus.

3. The thin flat tip of the floating apparatus has a forward extension to anticipate the damage as a result of the scratching of the boat with the sand when it is parked.

4. The boat remains unsinkable because the floating force lies on the floating apparatus. The boat does not sink even when it is overturned.

Everything about the invention has been explained in detail and clearly, so by reading the whole description or a part or even by seeing the attached Figures, one with general skill on his field can easily make modification, changes in the shape or other engineering without digressing from the spirit and scope of this invention.
