RELATED PRODUCTS EQUIPPED WITH SENSOR TO WARN
ON DISTANCE FROM USER".
TECHNICAL FIELD
This invention refers to the improvement in a
cellular telephone set and related products equipped with sensor to
warn on distance from user, more specifically it relates to a
electronic means able to automatically warn the user that he/she is
away from the cellular phone set or other related equipment, which
limit of distance is set by the user or by installation encompassing a
performance area, thus preventing inconveniences caused by losing
the telephone.
BASE OF THE TECHNIQUE
In general, the use of individual and portable
equipment, such as cellular telephones, palm-tops, notebooks and
others with high market value and often containing several important
private and even confidential pieces of information is more and more
frequent.
Nowadays one single user usually owns
several of such devices, carrying them inside a bag or suitcase, and
thus making that the industry launches smaller models.
With technology in constant evolution,
although such sets are very small they have state-of-the-art
technology, such as voice operation, GPS locating chip, cellular sets
equipped with cameras, Internet access, and several other features
that turn them into real consumer dreams.
Recently we were presented with some cell
phones in which users may register data about themselves and obtain
monitored heart-beating results by means of movement sensors
(accelerometer), or even incorporated with heat flow sensors that
measure the heat produced by the user's body and skin galvanic
response sensors, and such sensors are stored in a soft and stretch
armlet connected to the phone set by wireless connection; such
location system may be incorporated of a GPS (global positioning
system) which determines the location of the user.
However, even with such evolution, which
represents added value to the device, the user still may forget his set
in several places, such as airports, hotels, taxis and even home,
business meetings and several other places, thus causing several
personal problems, because, as explained above, when one loses one
of such devices, one loses not only money, but also several data
contained therein.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In view of the above, the applicant developed
this improvement for a cellular phone set and related equipment,
which may now be equipped with a sensor that warns the user when
he is away from the set, and for such the original printed circuit of
the set includes a microchip that acts as a presence sensor which
functions as an antenna receiving a number of waves that may be
radiofrequency, infrared or other means of reading performed by an
external element, preferably held by the user of the improved device,
and both the sensor and the external element recognize or "reflect"
pre-set information in their manufacture.
Such microchip or presence sensor may be of
the transponder type, which may operate with pre-set parameters that
make a constant check of the distance in meters, for instance, five
meters or an optional variation of the time away from the set, for
instance thirty seconds.
For such, the users will carry with themselves
a transmitter/receiving element that may be placed in any permanent
use object, such as a keypads, pens, watches, magnetic cards, or any
other object that allows to create constant reading/checking between
the issuing/receiving devices, that is, for instance, cellular phone
equipped with issuer (sensor) and watch equipped with receiver
(sensor).
So, each time the user exceeds the pre-set
distance or time, one of such two elements (issuer/receiver) or even
both elements simultaneously make a sound or vibration to warn the
user of such exceeded distance, making that the user quickly notices
and returns to get back his device (cellular phone, palm-top,
notebook, etc.).
Obviously, this sensor may be associated to
already existing devices, such as GPS or even associated to
automatic dialers for pre-registered phones, which may warn on the
distance from the device and even show its location by GPS tracking.
The main purpose of this invention is to avoid
that the user leaves his set in public or private places, and such
distance from the set is quickly warned, thus allowing that the user
may return to the place where he/she left the set, thus avoiding losses
and/or thefts.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRA WINGS
To complement this description and in order
to obtain a better understanding of the characteristics of this
invention, according to a preferential practical use thereof, a set of
drawing is attached hereto in an exemplified but not limited manner,
the following is represented:
Figure 1 represents an illustrative view of a
cellular phone equipped with the distance sensor and its relation with
any object equipped with the permanent checking element;
Figure 2 shows a diagram of blocks in which
such sensors involved have their communication interrupted, thus
activating the variables of distance warning.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
This invention refers to a "IMPROVEMENT
IN CELLULAR TELEPHONE SET AND RELATED PRODUCTS
EQUIPPED WITH SENSOR TO WARN ON DISTANCE FROM
USER", in particular it refers to a cellular phone device (AP), or
even palm-tops, notebooks and others, the integrated circuit of which
(CI) is equipped with a sensor (1) or microchip that operates as a
presence sensor, functioning as an antenna (A) that issues or receives
radiofrequency, infrared signals (S) or any other waves that may be
permanently checked by a complementary component (P) stored
within an external element (E) which, on its turn, is permanently held
by the user (U) of the device (AP) equipped with the sensor (1); both
the sensor (1) and the external elements (E) recognize or "reflect"
pre-set information of variants entered in their programming, meter
variants (M) or time variants (T); such sensors (1) and (P) are
associated to a communications means (C) that may be a "buzzer", a
led, a vibrator or any other proper device.
The external element (E) may be, for instance,
a keypad, pen, watch, magnetic card or any other object that may
store the complementary component (P) that constantly reads/checks
with the sensor (1) of the device (AP) 5 acting as an issuer and
receiver, that is, for instance, (figure 1) a cellular telephone (AP)
equipped with the issuer (sensor) (1) and a watch (E) equipped with
the receiver (sensor) (P).
So, each time the user gets away (X) from the
set (AP) exceeding the pre-set distance in meters or exceeding some
pre-set period of time, one of the two elements (issuer/receiver) or
even both simultaneously make sounds or vibrations to warn on such
distance, making that the user quickly notices the loss and return to
get back his device (cellular phone, palm- top, notebook, etc.).
Obviously, this sensor may be associated to
already existing GPS devices (G) or even associated to automatic
dialers (D) for pre-registered phones, thus warning the distance and
further showing its location by GPS tracking.
It is important to understand that this
invention does not limit its application to details or steps described
herein. It may be applied to other classes and be used or executed in
several modes, being understood that the words used herein have as
purpose to describe not to limit.
