Abstract:
An improvement to a two-stage, compressed air engine comprises an engine block (50) with a piston (1) housed in a jacket (2), in the upper section (3) of which is arranged a primary injection nozzle (4) next to an outlet valve (5), while a secondary injection nozzle (6) is laterally arranged, with the piston rod (7) secured by a pin (8) to the coupling rod (9) coupled to an eccentric shaft (10) that rests on bearings (11), while the ends (12) are coupled to a pulley and an inertial wheel (14). The two-stage engine is composed of a triangular coupling rod (15) secured by a pin (16) to a piston (17) that slides inside a jacket (18), under the top of which is arranged a pressure inlet (19) and outlet (20) channel, and the coupling rod (15) has in the lower section (21) thereof an eccentric shaft (22).
