Title:
IMPROVEMENTS TO A HYDRAULIC ACTUATING DEVICE FOR LIFTING AND LOWERING THE LID AND SEAT OF A WC
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/028090
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to improvements to a hydraulic actuating device for lifting and lowering the lid of a WC, characterised by a left module and a right module consisting of a housing comprising a central transverse axle, the ends of which jut out, said housing being divided into three compartments. The end of the left axle is connected to the lid and the end of the right axle to the seat, the opposite end being fixed to a driving plate having three wings, a wing being housed in each cavity of the housing, which also house a cylindrical diaphragm. Said diaphragms, when filled with water, press on the wings, simultaneously causing a partial rotation of the axles which, as they are coupled to the lid and seat, lift the lid and seat together or separately and lower them during the rotational displacement when the water is released. Said diaphragms are fed via a check valve enabling the passage of feed water for filling the diaphragms and for discharging the diaphragms by means of a duct to the tank of the WC when the flush is actuated. Said left and right valves that are actuated by foot are connected to a general water distributor connected to the water supply duct.
