Abstract:
An in-line heat exchange cleaning system for liquid treatment comprising: a) a liquid treatment device comprising a heat exchanger (106) having a plurality of heat exchanger tubes with a given internal diameter, and being configured to create a treatment liquid flow passing through the heat exchanger tubes; b) a cleaning subsystem associated with the liquid treatment device and comprising a plurality of liquid carrying cleaning objects (102), the liquid carrying cleaning objects (102) being in frictional contact with the internal surfaces of the plurality of heat exchanger tubes, thereby cleaning the same. The system can implement in-line cleaning of heat exchange equipment, and process solutions usable in the system comprise strong acids at high temperatures and having a specific gravity greater or less than water.
