Abstract:
Provided is an in-vehicle compression device that is capable of operating a compressor at a low current, and capable of operating the compressor at low noise and vibration levels in accordance with the condition of the vehicle. The in-vehicle compression device is provided with: a compressor having a cylinder and a piston which is slidably provided inside the cylinder and forms a compression chamber; a linear motor having a movable element which is connected to the piston so as to be capable of reciprocal motion; and a control device for controlling the driving of the linear motor. The in-vehicle compression device supplies a working fluid compressed in the compression chamber to a pressure device provided in the vehicle. The control device variably adjusts the stroke of the piston in accordance with the condition of the vehicle.
