Title:
IN-VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/110134
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an in-vehicle control device which has a single ground terminal such that it is possible to avoid erroneous detection due to temporary abnormalities in voltage or current and precisely detect disconnection failure of a ground wire. The configuration is such that: the voltage of the positive electrode of a smoothing electrolytic capacitor 64 is monitored, and the current passing through a shunt resistance 69 is also monitored. The voltage range (voltage threshold) of the positive electrode of the smoothing electrolytic capacitor 64 in the case of a break in a ground wire 72L is calculated on the basis of the monitored current value. The in-vehicle control device is configured so that the calculated voltage threshold and the monitored positive voltage are compared, and it is determined whether or not the ground wire 72L is broken.
