Abstract:
Provided is a technology that, in an in-vehicle network having a time-triggered network, can suitably maintain communication performance required for relaying communication data even if the amount of traffic that a data relay device is to relay increases or decreases. The in-vehicle data relay device dynamically alters the quantity of slots or the slot IDs in the time-triggered network used by the in-vehicle data relay device to match the amount of traffic to be relayed, and determines the execution timing of processing corresponding to the slots to match the post-alteration quantity of slots or slot IDs (see fig. 9).
