Abstract:
An authentication pattern generation unit (112) prompts a user who is using a portable device (20) to perform a specified action when a signal is received from the portable device (20). A checking unit (111) determines whether the user has performed the specified action. When the checking unit (111) has determined that the user has performed the specified action, the checking unit (111) authenticates the portable device (20) as a legitimate device.
