Abstract:
The present invention relates to an in-vehicle electronic device comprising: a power supply unit for supplying power; an interface unit for receiving, from a server through a communication device, HD map data of a specified area, location data of a vehicle, and destination data; and a processor for continuously, while the power is supplied, receiving HD map data for a section within a preset distance from a location of the vehicle on the basis of the location data and the destination data, generating electronic horizon data for the specified area, and pre-obtaining HD map data on the basis of information on a weak communication section.
