Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to improve the performance of detecting a leading vehicle having a collision possibility by use of a stereo camera using a CMOS sensor with a rolling shutter. The present invention is characterized in that: an in-vehicle image processing camera has a plurality of image capturing units for capturing images in front of a vehicle and an image analysis unit for detecting another vehicle by using disparity information of the images obtained by the image capturing units; and the image capturing units are each equipped with an image capturing element having exposing timings different for respective lines of an image capturing area and sequentially exposing from the lower to upper ends of the another vehicle.
