Abstract:
A microphone unit (1) according to the present invention comprises a microphone casing (5) having microphone elements (3) disposed in the interior and having tone holes (21) communicated with the microphone elements (3) provided in the bottom surface (5a), an annular rib (9) encircling the tone holes (21) of the microphone casing (5), and a grill (11) placed in a state of contact with the rib (9) and having openings (25). The volume of an open space (29) formed between the grill (11) and the bottom surface (5a) of the microphone casing (5) can thereby be kept extremely small. Therefore, noise due to sound reverberations in the open space (29) can be reduced.
