Title:
IN-VEHICLE RECEIVER AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING TIRE PRESSURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/136016
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An in-vehicle receiver is included in a system for monitoring tire pressure. The in-vehicle receiver comprises a radio wave reception unit (31) that receives frames including information relating to tire pressure transmitted in a prescribed periodic transmission cycle (T1) by transmitters (2a–2d) provided to each of the tires of a plurality of wheels, and specific radio waves emitted by a portable device (4). The in-vehicle receiver comprises a control unit (33) that detects drops in tire pressure on the basis of the data relating to tire pressure included in the frames. While a start switch (SSW) of the vehicle is off, the control unit shifts to a specific mode in which the radio wave reception unit receives specific radio waves at prescribed first intermittent cycles (T5). In addition, while the start switch (SSW) of the vehicle is off, the control unit causes the radio wave reception unit to receive frames at predetermined second intermittent cycles (T2), and shifts from the specific mode or the power-saving mode to a monitoring mode for intermittently monitoring tire pressure.
