Abstract:
Provided is an in-vehicle traffic information notification device capable of notifying users of suitable traffic information even when a travel route for a host vehicle is difficult to specify. A probability of passage calculation unit (15) of the traffic information notification device calculates the probability of passage, that is the probability that the host vehicle will pass through a location of a traffic obstruction occurrence acquired by a traffic information receiving unit (11), from the current location of the host vehicle detected by a current location detection unit (14) and the travel history data stored in a travel history data storage unit (12). A display unit (16) and an audio output unit (17) notify the user of traffic obstruction occurrences in a mode corresponding to the probability of passage through the traffic obstruction.
