Abstract:

An in-wheel motor drive device (21) is provided with a motor unit (A), a deceleration unit (B) which decelerates the rotation of the motor unit (A) and transmits the rotation to an output shaft (28), and a wheel hub (32) which is linked to the output shaft (28). The deceleration unit (B) has: a cylindrical casing member (45) which has integrally formed terminals at either end, and which extends in the axial direction of the deceleration unit from one end to the other end thereof; an output shaft (28) which is inserted in the empty space of the casing member; and two output shaft bearings (38a, 38b) which are respectively provided on the inner periphery at opposite ends (45f) of the casing member, and which rotatably support the output shaft (28).
