The problem addressed by the present invention is, as an outer pin housing (50) of a cycloid reduction gear (B) of an in-wheel motor drive device (21), adopting that which has high machining precision and easy machining, and is such that assembly of the inner components of the reduction gear (B) is easy even if the opening for component insertion is small. The outer pin housing (50) is formed by assembling half split bodies (50a, 50b) split in two pieces, through holes (61) are provided that penetrate in the axial direction in the state of the half split bodies (50a, 50b) being aligned at the split surface, the half split bodies (50a, 50b) split in two pieces can be joined by means of passing connecting pins (60) through the through holes (61), the constituent components of the reduction gear (B) are assembled in the state of the half split bodies (50a, 50b) being open, the half split bodies (50a, 50b) to which the constituent components of the reduction gear (B) have been assembled are closed, and the half split bodies (50a, 50b) split in two pieces are integrally joined by means of the connecting pins (60).
