Abstract:
A motor part (21) of an in-wheel motor drive device (1) includes a motor housing (2) that rotationally supports a motor shaft (22) with two or more bearings (27, 28). A speed reduction part (31) includes a plurality of speed reducer elements (32s, 34, 15) that rotate around an axis, said axis being parallel to the motor shaft (22), and includes a speed reducer housing (3) that rotationally supports each speed reducer element with two or more bearings (32m, 32n, 34m, 34n, 36m, 36n). The motor housing (2) and the speed reducer housing (3) have, in mutually facing sections thereof, fastening parts that link and fix the two in a separable manner, and receding/protruding fitting parts (601, 603) for positioning.
