Abstract:
This in-wheel motor drive device 10 is provided with a drive part 20 having an electric motor 21, and a housing 11 that accommodates the drive part 20, wherein the housing 11 is provided with: a mount part 12 of a ball joint 6 for rotatably connecting a lower arm 3 to the bottom section of the housing 11; and an oil storage part 13 which stores a lubrication oil 14 that is required to be provided to the drive part 20 while the drive part 20 is in operation. The oil storage part 13 is arranged at a position shifted in the vehicle front-to-rear direction (vehicle front side) with respect to the mount part 12, and is provided to overlap the mount part 12 when viewed in the vehicle front-to-rear direction.
