Abstract:
An in-wheel motor drive device (1) is disposed inside a wheel (W) of a driving wheel (92). The in-wheel motor drive device (1) is provided with: a motor unit (21) including a motor rotating shaft for rotating the driving wheel, and a motor casing (29) accommodating the motor rotating shaft; and a plurality of cooling fins (41) which are provided in such a way as to project from a vehicle width direction inside end surface (29e) of the motor casing, and which extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. In a state in which the orientation of the front-rear direction of the driving wheel (92) is aligned with the orientation of the front-rear direction of the vehicle, a projecting distal end position of a vehicle rearward side (41b) of the cooling fins (41) is positioned further toward the inside in the width direction of the vehicle than a projecting distal end position of a vehicle front side (41a) thereof.
