Abstract:
This in-wheel motor drive device 21 is provided with: a motor part A; a reduction gear part B; a wheel bearing part C; and an oil pump D for supplying oil to either the motor part A or the reduction gear part B. The reduction gear part B comprises: an input shaft 34 to which rotary driving force is inputted from the motor part A; an output shaft 36 which is disposed parallel to the input shaft 34, and from which rotary driving force is outputted; and an input gear wheel 30 and an output gear wheel 33 that are provided to the input shaft 34 and the output shaft 36, respectively. The oil pump D is disposed on an outboard side beyond the output gear wheel 33 of the output shaft 36.
