Abstract:
This in-wheel motor driving device (11) is provided with: a motor unit (11A) situated to one side in the axial direction of the in-wheel motor driving device; a wheel hub unit (11C) ) situated to the other side in the axial direction of the in-wheel motor driving device; a deceleration unit (11B) situated between the motor unit and the wheel hub unit, for decelerating and transmitting the output rotation of the motor unit to the wheel hub unit; and a first arm part (34) which is integrally formed with a deceleration unit casing (33) constituting the outer shell of the deceleration unit, and which protrudes in an axis-perpendicular direction from the deceleration unit casing, and links at the front end side in rotatable fashion to a member on the vehicle body side.
