Abstract:

A transponder used in an in-wheel motor system and requiring no power supply, and a wheel provided with that transponder. The transponder (100) comprises a data transmitting/receiving antenna (101), a data transmitting/receiving unit (110), a sensor circuit (130), and a sensor-use power supply circuit (150). The sensor-use power supply circuit (150) comprises a rectifying circuit (151) (energy converting means), a capacitor (152) and a charging coil (157), with the input side of the rectifying circuit (151) connected with the charging coil (157), and the output side of the rectifying circuit (151) with the capacitor (152). The transponder (100) is provided in a motor rotor (40) provided on the inner-side surface of a rim (21) in a tire constituting a wheel (10), and is fixed so that the charging coil (157) goes through a magnetic field formed by a motor stator (30).
