Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to assist a user in more quickly and precisely executing a response to an incident having occurred in a device or the like. An incident response assistance apparatus determines, from an assistance information storage unit, assistance information related to the log information of a device to be monitored, and then acquires, from the determined assistance information, a response method for responding to an incident related to the log information. The incident response assistance apparatus also determines, from a history information storage unit, history information associated with the determined assistance information and then acquires, from the determined history information, supplementary information for the response method. The incident response assistance apparatus then outputs the acquired response method and supplementary information.
