Abstract:
[Problem] To incinerate an article to be incinerated at a high temperature with a simple structure so as to generate a clear exhaust gas with less amount of incineration ashes and harmful substances generated. [Solution] This incinerator is configured such that a secondary combustion chamber 2 is arranged below a primary combustion chamber 1 in which a grate 7 is arranged, a combustion gas flows from the primary combustion chamber 1 into the secondary combustion chamber 2 located below, the primary combustion chamber 1 cuts off air, the article to be incinerated is fed onto the grate 7, the grate 7 is provided with a plurality of multistage plates 9 laminated at multiple stages via an air-blowing gap 11, the multistage plates 9 are multistage inclined plates 10 that incline downward to the outside on both sides of a top edge 16, a lower-stage inclined plate 10B projects from an upper stage to the outside, and a blower 8 forcibly blows air into the grate 7, and blows air through the air-blowing gap 11 to the outside, thus incinerating the article to be incinerated.
