Abstract:
An incline bed and horizontal push method for constructing a dam with rolled concrete comprises the following steps: laying-out, slot surface green cutting, mixing roller compacted concrete, transporting, inclined-layer paving, cutting joint, nuclear density testing, applying simultaneously mortar-enriched compact roller concrete at joints of adjacent shuttering, constructions inside the dam and the like, curing and low-temperature protection, furthermore, processing dense treat against the pouring bin surface for the lift range of the rolled concrete, as well as arranging induction joints in the water drawing surface of the dam. Applying the method to the construction of the large volume concrete dam offers advantage of high speed and quality, low cost, durability, and minimum adverse effect due to high or low temperature and rainy weather.
