Abstract:
An incremental manufacturing method for a part or mold comprises a numerical control code generating step and an incremental forming step. In the incremental forming step, when deposition forming of a deposition forming material is conducted by layers on a base body, rotary compression forming is carried out by layers. The incremental manufacturing method can solve the problems of easy cracking and deformation, large residual stress and inadequate and unstable structural properties of a formed part caused by repeated quick heating and cooling as well as problems of flowing, drop and collapse of the molten material under the effect of gravity in the existing moldless deposition incremental forming process for a part or mold. Therefore, parts or molds made of metallic compounds, intermetallic compounds, nonmetallic compounds and composite materials thereof can be obtained rapidly with high quality and low cost.
