Abstract:
This indicator gauge for vehicle comprises: a rotating needle (4) which indicates a state value for the vehicle; and a step motor (6) which rotates the rotating needle. The step motor in turn comprises: an output gear (638) which has an output shaft (637) which integrally rotates with the rotating needle, and a final gear portion (639) which spreads outward from the output shaft to the outer peripheral side; a deceleration mechanism having a pinion gear as a deceleration gear which meshes with the final gear portion; and a motor casing (60) which houses the output gear and the deceleration mechanism. The rotating needle has a rotating shaft (41) which is press-fitted into the interior of the motor casing, at a specific location (Ps) offset in the axial direction from the final gear portion of the output shaft. As a result of this configuration it is possible to avoid rotational defects of the rotating needle.
