Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of communication, and specifically, to an indirect communication method, relay node, network equipment, and system, resolving a problem in which when terminal equipment acts as a relay node to access a network, the terminal equipment is unidentifiable at a network side. The indirect communication method comprises: a relay node receives a terminal equipment message from terminal equipment, encapsulates the terminal equipment message into a relay node message, and indicates in the relay node message that encapsulated content includes the terminal equipment message, and transmits, to network selection equipment, the relay node message; the network selection equipment receives the relay node message, determines, according to identification information of the terminal equipment in the relay node message, a core network to which the terminal equipment belongs, and transmits, to first core network equipment corresponding to the core network to which the terminal equipment belongs, the terminal equipment message; and the corresponding first core network equipment receives the terminal equipment message, and performs a subsequent process on the terminal equipment message. The embodiments of the invention are applicable to indirect communication in Internet of things.
