Abstract:
Disclosed is an indirect illumination device that can inspect an article from a plurality of directions and reduces extraneous shadow patterns on the article in order to perform a more detailed inspection. This indirect illumination device (1) is provided with a casing (2) and an illumination light (3) provided to the bottom inside of the casing (2). On the inside, the casing (2) has a reflective surface (2a) that reflects towards the vicinity of the center of the casing (2) the light the illumination light (3) radiates. The reflective surface is formed having the function of a one-way mirror continuously from the topmost section (2aa), and between the reflective surface (2a) of the casing (2) and the illumination light (3), a light diffuser (7) is provided.
