Abstract:
Provided are an indirect-lighting method for a ceiling surface using a projector, a device therefor, and a housing (storage case) therefor. In this method, a projector having at least a function for projecting illumination light with an approximately rectangular cross section is used to carry out indirect lighting of the ceiling surface of a space. The method comprises steps of: disposing the projector on a wall surface orthogonal to the ceiling surface; setting the projector in such a manner that, in the short-side direction of the approximately rectangular cross section of the illumination light projected from the projector, the projection angle falls within a range of 52 to 60 degrees; and projecting the illumination light from the projector toward the ceiling surface.
