Title:
INDIRECT MATRIX CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/067095
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Solution] Disclosed is an indirect matrix converter which has: a converter (2) connected to a three-phase alternating current power supply (11); an inverter (6) that controls an electrical actuator (21); and a pair of intermediate direct current links (4p, 4n) that connect the converter and the inverter to each other. The converter (2) is provided with first converter switching elements (8rp, 8sp, 8tp, 8rn, 8sn, 8tn) between each phase of the three-phase alternating current power supply (11) and the intermediate direct current links (4p, 4n), and the inverter (6) is provided with second converter switching elements (16a-16c), which are disposed between each phase of the electrical actuator (21) and the intermediate direct current links (4p, 4n). The intermediate direct current links (4p, 4n) are a pair of board-like bus bars, and are disposed to overlap each other at a predetermined interval, and are linearly disposed from the converter (2) to the inverter (6).
