Abstract:
When image components common to a plurality of registered images exist, the accuracy in individual identification decreases. A determination means of the present invention determines the degree of validity of the calculation of a score that indicates a degree of similarity between registered images, which are captured images of objects of a plurality of registered targets, and a to-be-verified image, which is a captured image of an object to be verified, on a partial-region-by-partial-region basis, in accordance with whether image components common to the plurality of registered images exist in each of the partial regions. A calculation means of the present invention calculates said score on the basis of the image components included in the registered images and the to-be-verified image, and the degree of validity.
