Abstract:
This individual identification device, which identifies an individual product having a randomly formed uneven pattern on the surface thereof, comprises a photographing means and an extraction means. The photographing means acquires an image obtained by photographing a date mark formed on the product. The extraction unit extracts a feature quantity related to the uneven pattern from the image as data for identifying the individual product.
