Abstract:
An individual identifier extraction device has: an acquisition unit that acquires an image of a layer which is formed on an object, contains fine particles, and has an indefinite planar shape; and an extraction unit which extracts, from the image, a feature amount that depends on the planar shape of the layer and the distribution of the particles, as an individual identifier of the object.
