An indoor positioning method and system, and a computer device and a storage medium. The method comprises: determining whether a positioning terminal enters the coverage range of a virtual beacon (S100); if the positioning terminal does enter the coverage range, determining whether the distance between the positioning terminal and the virtual beacon is gradually decreased, so as to obtain a determination result (S200); adjusting the step length of a PDR positioning algorithm according to the determination result (S300): when the distance is gradually decreased, decreasing the step length of the PDR positioning algorithm (S301), and when the distance is gradually increased, increasing the step length of the PDR positioning algorithm (S302); positioning the positioning terminal by using the PDR positioning algorithm with the adjusted step length, so as to obtain a positioning result (S400); and if the positioning terminal does not enter the coverage range, positioning the positioning terminal by using the PDR positioning algorithm with an unadjusted step length, so as to obtain a positioning result (S500). By means of adaptively adjusting a step length in a PDR positioning algorithm, positioning is more accurate.
