Abstract:
The present invention relates to an indoor positioning system and method using GPS location information mapping and, more specifically, to an indoor positioning system and method using GPS location information mapping, wherein GPS standard coordinate data is mapped to a locator beacon so as to enable precise positioning of a terminal located indoors. According to the present invention, GPS standard coordinate data is mapped to a locator beacon, and the mapped GPS standard coordinate data is provided to a terminal together with launch angle information, whereby the position of the terminal located indoors can be precisely measured.
