Abstract:
An indoor unit of an air conditioner, and control method thereof. The indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: a housing (10) and a heat exchange component provided within the housing (10). The housing (10) is provided with a first air channel and a second air channel, both in communication with the heat exchange component. The housing (10) has portions of a first section (11) and a second section (12). An air outlet opening (20) and a return air opening (30) of the first air channel are provided on the first section (11) of the housing (10). An air outlet opening (40) and a return air opening (50) of the second air channel is provided on the second section (12) of the housing (10). Cooling of one room is performed by means of air supply and air return of the first air channel, and cooling of another room is performed by means of air supply and air return of the second air channel, thus achieving cooling of two rooms at the same time, and improving cooling efficiency.
