An indoor unit and an air conditioner having same. The indoor unit comprises: an upper bottom case (10); a lower bottom case (20), the upper bottom case (10) being connected to the lower bottom case (20); a drive box assembly (30), connected to the upper bottom case (10) and comprising a first drive portion and a second drive portion; and an air deflector (40), connected to the first drive portion; the first drive portion is used for driving the air deflector (40) so as to position the air deflector (40) in an open position or a closed position, and the second drive portion is used for driving the air deflector (40) to rotate so as to change the air deflection direction of the air deflector (40). The drive box assembly (30) is provided on the upper bottom case (10), and the second drive portion of the drive box assembly (30) is configured to drive the air deflector (40) to rotate, so that during the disassembly of the lower bottom case (20), the lower bottom case (20) can be disassembled without pulling out a wire of the second drive portion, greatly facilitating disassembly and cleaning of the air conditioner.
