An indoor unit (1) is provided with: a grounded housing (1A); a fan motor (10) mounted to the housing (1A); and a capacitance forming member (30) formed from a conductor material, the capacitance forming member (30) having one end which is mounted to the housing (1A) and having the other end having a facing surface which faces a surface of a shaft (11) with a gap located therebetween, the shaft (11) extending from the body of the fan motor (10).
